***Update:*** Since the original review I was contacted by the owner. It appears they missed shutting off online ordering when they closed early on a slow night. They quickly refunded our payment and graciously made up for the inconvenience. I have finally had the time to return and try the BBQ. Wes helped me and was ... very courteous and friendly. I went with a "one of everything approach" for the family to get a little taste of the whole menu (standard practice when trying a new BBQ joint). It did not disappoint! Everything was tasty but we particularly loved the brisket, ribs, pulled pork, coleslaw, mac and cheese, beans, and hot mop sauce. I had mentioned to a friend I was heading down to get food and he said "get anything, you can't go wrong"...and he was right. Great businesses know how to turn a bad customer experience into a good customer experience. Looking forward to our next visit. They are certainly open and certainly delicious. ***Previous Review:*** Just placed an order online on a Friday night at 7pm...arrived to pickup our food and the location was closed. Liked this place before but now that they moved into a bigger space and expanded their menu LOVE IT! So tasty, nice atmosphere, good service, reasonable prices, what more can you ask for? Brought a coworker and they loved it too. Different from other SLO bbq options.

I recently ordered the pre-packaged brisket to feed 60 people at our Cambria American Legion. Reheating was a breeze, and the meat tender and smokey. We received applause and thumbs up for the dinner and the guests asked for an encore in the future! I also bought the pulled pork for make-your-own sliders for a ... birthday lunch this week.
